TRANSPORTATION GRANTS

WHAT IS THIS PROGRAM?

This program is meant to serve those with the greatest need. Those who are in a temporary transportation related crisis that occurred within the past 60 days.

Here are a few examples:

A person who has lost a job (outside of their control/behavior)

A person who has lost income due to losing a loved one

A person who experienced health problems with growing medical bills

A person who has experienced natural disaster

A person coming out of domestic violence and is starting all over

WHAT GRANTS DO YOU OFFER?

These situations are only meant to serve as a guide and do not cover the full spectrum of possible emergencies. We offer the following types of micro-grants.

Gas

Insurance

DMV fees

Bus/Uber/Lyft

and more…

WHO QUALIFIES?

Our grants are not a bandaid to a larger issue. Those who qualify need a way to show stability moving forward past the temporary assistance we provide.

For example, if someone is requesting assistance for a car payment but does not have finances to pay for the vehicle going forward, they would not qualify.

Here is a list of qualifications:

Be referred by an approved referring organization

Must have been with their referring organization for no less than 30 days

Must fall within predetermined income levels

Meet a defined need based on personal crisis

Meet defined personal crisis that is temporary
